To create an Architectural BIM model of LOD 400 of government building in Europe from the architectural plans, elevations, and sections provided.
The project was a renovation of a building with 9 floors (3 floors of basement, ground floor, and 5 floors plus a roof) wherein Tesla had to create an architectural BIM model of the existing facility.
The client is a design and construction company in a European country that takes up projects in new construction as well as restructuring in the areas of offices, shops, hotel, logistics, health and housing.The client had provided us with a guideline on the modeling rules that needed to be followed.
We had to model the following elements:
- Rooms
- Walls
- Floors
- False Ceilings
- Doors
- Windows
- Furniture and fixtures
As the project progressed, we were asked to work on the schedules for all the floors.
