Architectural BIM Modelling for the Interior of an Office Space – Payne Hicks Beach

To generate accurate 3D floor plan models from presentations and provide realistic interior views for visualising the office space design.

In this project, we worked on 3D interior modelling for a 500-square-metre office space in the UK. We used AutoCAD to turn the client’s references into detailed floor plans with exact measurements. Then, using Sketchup, we carefully built a realistic 3D model that matched what the client wanted. We paid close attention to all the details, making sure the views looked realistic. This covered different areas like reception options 1 and 2, a view of the toilet, and the special acoustic booths.

Elements to be modelled and rendered included:

• Six rendered interior views
• Updated floor plans with dimensions using AutoCAD.
• Detailed 3D model using Sketchup, in line with client specifications.
