Scan to BIM, Car Park of White Water Shopping Center, Ireland
To prepare Architectural and MEP Model of LOD 200 for a part of an underground car park along with the creating the topography of the ground floor as marked in pdf from scans provided to us.
- The project consisted of creating an Architectural and MEP LOD 200 model for an underground car park facility i.e., the basement and the ground floor of a Shopping Center in Ireland. The project was completed in 20 working days with 5 architects and MEP engineers working on it at a time.
The modelling included:
Architectural model: Walls, doors, windows, openings, staircase, steel/concrete columns, beams, slab folds, slab penetrations, lift shafts, lifts, railings, ramps, floors, roof, basic fixtures
MEP model: Drainage (Waste & vent pipes), Water services with insulation, Firefighting (Fire hose reels, Sprinklers), Electrical services (cable trays, conduits, panels), Lighting fixtures, Communication devices.
The project was completed in short turnaround time despite of several markups received daily. It was a challenging task to work on such unclear scans however we at Tesla were able to successfully deliver the project with quality work and tight schedule. The client was contented seeing our work and turned into a regular client for us.
The output delivered was a Revit model of LOD 200 for a car park and ground floor of White water shopping Centre.
