Development of complete BIM model for Ministry of Economic Development, Rome, Italy
Summary
We had to develop a complete BIM Model for Ministry of Economic Development building located in Rome, Italy from the scans provided by the client at LOD 200. We completed the whole building in 1.5 months with 3 resources working on the project.
The architectural model consisted of Floor, Ceiling, Walls, Doors, Windows, Staircases, Roofs, Railings, Furniture elements under windows. The structural model consisted of beams and columns. And the MEP model consisted of Lighting services, Power services, Mechanical equipment. The building had 9 floors built in 2006 with 5100 sq. ft per floor.
Project Deliverables
- The building was divided floor wise into 3 parts. Each part consisting of 3 floors. Each floor was divided into 2 parts.
- We had to deliver separate Revit models. Each part of Revit model consisted of 3 floors.
- In total we delivered 6 Revit models per discipline
