Scan to BIM Modelling for a Commercial Building in the UK

To create a 3D Revit Model for an existing commercial building from the scans provided by the client.

To create a 3D BIM Model of an Existing Building – Interior and Roof in Revit from the scan data received from the client. It was a commercial building with an area of 2500 sq.m. We were required to create the model in LOD 300 in Revit 2021. The following are the project details:

No. of floors: Basement, Ground, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4/Roof (Area of the building not given)

Elements to be modeled as follows:

Internal walls, wall thicknesses, and voids to be shown

• Columns, Beams, and other large structural features
• Doors, Windows, and other openings in wall and roof structures.
• Floor and Ceiling Heights in each room
• Roof heights and layout
