Scan to Revit Modeling at LOD 300 for an Industrial building, Europe

The project objective was to create a 3D Model in Revit from the scan data and model steel structure in LOD 300.

We were required to develop a 3D Model in Revit for an existing building from the scan data. It was an Industrial building and we were required to model steel structure in LOD 300 as our scope of work. The project area was approximately 1600 sq meters and it was executed in Revit 2021.

No. of floors: Ground, First, Mezzanine/side, Second and Third.

Elements to be modeled were:

• Steel structures with all the connecting columns, beams in between (including bolts and bolted connections), and Steel structures that carry the silos.
• Stairs
• Silos (silo body and shape)
• Side level (including supporting beams and connections)
• Mixers A & B
• The body and support of machine C onto mixers A and B had to be modelled as well
