Brief Description

Tesla CAD UK developed a complete LOD 200 BIM model of the Ministry of Economic Development building in Rome, Italy, from client-supplied point cloud scan data. The model was delivered in 1.5 months with three dedicated resources. The nine-floor building ( approx. 5,100 sq.ft per floor) was modelled across all three disciplines.

The architectural model included floors, ceilings, walls, doors, windows, staircases, roofs, railings and furniture elements under the window. The structural model covered beams and columns and the MEP model included lighting services, power services and mechanical equipment.

Deliverables

  • Separate discipline-specific Revit models, each covering 3 floors
  • 6 Revit models per discipline (18 models total across Architectural, Structural & MEP)
